  1. Briefly, career path in tech started as a result of request received from people on how to start a career in tech. This was a problem that needed to be addressed in the community. So we calved out topics and create a curriculum that will help people from different careers to get started in tech. The first series was tagged starting a career in tech with the harsh tag ConversationWithOpeyemi In the end, we gave out internship opportunity to work on small projects and mentorship for the job role each applied for.
  2. Secondly, grow your career in tech started based on requests from members. We realized that some of the people that attended the career path in tech were tech graduates from computer science, computer engineering, and information technology related courses who are a bit indecisive on which aspect in tech they would love to build their career in.

According to SDG 9.b: Support domestic technology development, research and innovation in developing countries.

  • Tech Business Summit: A yearly conversation with tech business professionals to help develop tech businesses across Nations. This summit started based on the number of successful tech businesses across nations. The aim of the summit is to promote tech businesses across nations by education people with great ideas on how and where to get started.

Problem statement

  • What if, there were more successful tech businesses across nations, then there will be more job opportunity for tech professionals.
  • What if; Tech professionals with dreams and innovative ideas become successful won’t there be more job opportunity and the issue of junior tech professional jobs problems will be addressed.

Gender Equality Program: Aim at addressing the SDG 5b. Which is Enhance the use of enabling technology, in particular information and communications technology, to promote the empowerment of women. In accordance to this, we set-up an equality program.

  • By offering 10,000 scholarships, we want to close the skills gap for women across the globe thereby increasing diversity in tech space.
